Andre Nigel Bennett 1972 – 2017

On August 13, 1972, a baby boy was born to Willie Earl Bennett Sr. and Dessie Cowins Bennett in Houston, Tx. His given name was Andre Nigel Bennett.

At an early age, he accepted Christ and was baptized under the late Rev. Uran Justice Sr. of Mt. Hermon Missionary Baptist church. Andre attended Lamar Fleming Junior High and Phyllis Wheatley High. In addition, he earned his barber license while pursuing a degree in musical engineering at Houston Community College. While music was his passion, he worked as a commercial driver. He later joined Loving Word Fellowship, under Bishop Paul D. Landrew. Andre enjoyed spending quality time with his family and friends, traveling, dining out and exerting his carpentry skills. Andre will always be remembered for his illuminating personality, and loved by many for the caring, loyal, and generous person he was…even when a lecture followed.

On December 16, 2017 at 5:02 a.m, surrounded by family, Andre Nigel Bennett went peacefully into the loving arms of his Lord and savior, Jesus Christ.
